November 3 – 24, 2018 Robert Chandler: Surface Landing a An exhibition of recent paintings by Toronto artist Robert Chandler. "All pictures have a starting point and endpoint. The starting point for most of the pictures in this exhibition is a tree I have known now for close to fifty years. It is, in most peoples eye's, a rather nondescript tree, maybe even an ugly tree, but it is a tree I have grown to be quite fond of over the years. The tree stands in the front yard of the house I grew up in, in Scarborough; it's still there right now, right where we left it, like an old familiar friend, a living witness to all the lives lived there."
