May 8 – 29, 2021            Seo Eun Kim - Attempt in Restraint It's about compulsion and restlessness. It's about the urge to crawl out of your skin. To crawl out of the claustrophobia of the past year. The works in the show are visual relief efforts substituting for the lack of real relief. They are in a constant motion of morphing between body and paint, trying to burst out of their homes. They refuse to stay put and, unable to keep still, become increasingly impatient and agitated.
