Artist statement:

“Effects” - Definition
1.) An effect, is an impression that one can create deliberately, by the use of different techniques, as with the use of art materials.
2.) Power to bring about a result, INFLUENCE.

The word EFFECTS has many interpretations. The two listed above led me to the title of my Spring painting exhibition at yumart gallery. I examine both, through the medium of paint & drawing materials. Alice Burton 2023
