"My new works are based upon parks and natural landscapes existing within urban Toronto. The onset of spring and summer influence my thematic direction as I visit several locations and gather sources of inspiration. The new oil and acrylic paintings convey  a sense of place and imagination in nature while also exploring expressive techniques related to the medium; colour, texture and abstract."
